Web Auto-Trading Guide — Hyperliquid · Coinbase · Kraken · Binance · Bybit

Auto-trade every Hyperliquid DEX market — crypto perpetuals, tokenized stocks (Tesla, NVIDIA, Samsung…), FX, commodities and indices — plus Coinbase & Kraken spot (available to U.S. residents) and Binance & Bybit perps. Five exchanges, right from the web. No installs, no private keys.

What is Hyperliquid?

Hyperliquid is a fully on-chain order-book decentralized derivatives exchange (DEX). Unlike centralized exchanges, there are no nationality or residency restrictions — anyone with a wallet can trade, and your assets stay under your own wallet’s control.

💡 Symbol notation
Stocks, FX, commodities and indices live on the xyz builder market, so those symbols carry an xyz tag — e.g. SMSN [xyz] = Samsung. All margin and settlement is in USDC.
🟡 Binance · Bybit also on the web
Alongside Hyperliquid, this web console also auto-trades Binance·Bybit (crypto perps). See "Binance·Bybit connection (API key)" in step 2 below. (Upbit·Bithumb·Kiwoom·KIS via the v5 Desktop bot)

Getting Started — 4 Steps (No Private Key)

We never ask for your wallet private key. The bot uses an Agent key that can only sign trades — withdrawals are impossible with it.

STEP 1 — Sign up, deposit, find your wallet address

  1. Go to app.hyperliquid.xyzsign up with email (easiest — a wallet is created for you) or connect an existing wallet (MetaMask etc.).
  2. Deposit USDC via the Deposit button (USDC on Arbitrum). All margin is USDC — orders need a USDC balance.
  3. Copy your wallet address — click your account in the top-right of the HL app to copy the 42-char address starting with 0x. This address is public info like an account number — not a private key or seed phrase.

STEP 2 — Register address + generate Agent key (our site)

  1. Dashboard → 🔑 API Keys → the 🌐 Hyperliquid (DEX) card.
  2. Paste your wallet address (0x…, 42 chars) and Save.
  3. Click 🔑 Generate Agent Key → copy the displayed Agent address (used in STEP 3).
🔑 What is an Agent key?
Instead of "API Key + Secret", Hyperliquid uses Agent wallets. The bot creates its own keypair; once you authorize its address, the bot can sign orders on your account.
Your wallet keyAgent key (bot)
Sign orders (entry/exit)YesYes
Withdraw / move fundsYesImpossible
Entered on our site?NeverNo — generated & stored encrypted server-side
How to revokeRevoke anytime on the HL API page

STEP 3 — Authorize (approve in the Hyperliquid app)

  1. In the HL app: More → API (or go to app.hyperliquid.xyz/API).
  2. Paste the Agent address from STEP 2 into the API wallet field.
  3. Give it a memorable name (e.g. cotrading). If asked for a validity period, choose the maximum (re-authorize after expiry).
  4. Click Authorize → confirm the signature → done. The bot can now trade on your account.

STEP 4 — Verify the connection

Place a tiny market order from the Manual tab to verify. Any positions you already hold on HL will also appear automatically in the Monitor tab.

SymptomCause · Fix
Order fails: unauthorized / does not existAgent not authorized, or re-generated but not re-authorized → redo STEP 3.
Order fails: insufficient margin/balanceNot enough USDC in the Perps balance (check Spot ↔ Perps transfer).
Positions not showing in MonitorWrong/typo wallet address — check the last 6 chars in the API Keys modal.
Agent key shows "not generated"You haven’t generated it yet → STEP 2-3.
⚠️ Security
The Agent key is stored encrypted and can only sign trades — withdrawals are structurally impossible. Never enter your private key or seed phrase anywhere. Re-generating invalidates the old Agent (re-authorize the new address); revoke on the HL API page anytime to cut access instantly.

Binance · Bybit connection (API key)

Besides Hyperliquid, Binance·Bybit also auto-trade on the web (crypto perps mainly). They connect via an exchange API key (Key·Secret), not a wallet, and keys already saved in Webhook Studio (/my) work here too (enter once).

  1. Binance: API Management → Create API → check Enable Futures · never enable withdrawals.
  2. Bybit: API → Create New Key → Unified Trading (Orders / Positions) · no withdrawal.
  3. (Recommended) whitelist the server IP 13.209.224.50 for extra safety.
  4. Dashboard 🔑 API Keys → paste Key·Secret in the exchange card and Save → the card shows ✓ registered. (Actual connection is confirmed on your first manual order or scanner signal.)
  5. Pick Binance / Bybit from the Exchange dropdown atop the Scanner tab to switch symbols, chart and monitor.
💡 Good to know
Binance·Bybit are mainly for crypto perps. Some tokenized-stock perps can be region-restricted for KR IPs (crypto perps are fine). Scanner, indicators, TP/SL/TS and the monitor work exactly like the sections below.

Coinbase · Kraken connection (U.S.-available · spot)

Coinbase and Kraken are spot exchanges legally available to U.S. residents. Both run spot · LONG-only — no leverage or shorting; entries spend your USD balance, exits sell the held amount.

  1. Coinbase: coinbase.com/settings/apiCreate API key (CDP) → permissions View + Trade only · never enable Transfer. Paste the full API key name (organizations/…/apiKeys/…) and the full Private key (including -----BEGIN EC PRIVATE KEY-----) — the private key is shown only once at creation.
  2. Kraken: Profile → Settings → API → Create API key → permissions Query Funds · Query Open/Closed Orders & Trades · Create & Modify Orders · no Withdraw Funds. Paste the API Key and Private Key.
  3. Dashboard 🔑 API Keys → paste into the 🔵 Coinbase / 🟣 Kraken card and Save → pick them from the Exchange dropdown on the Scanner tab to switch symbols, chart and monitor.
  4. Symbols: Coinbase uses BTC-USD, Kraken uses BTC/USD (auto-populated in the dropdown).
⚠️ Spot behavior & caveats
SHORT signals never open a position — with "close on opposite signal" enabled, a SHORT signal instead sells (closes) your held spot by the configured ratio. TP/SL/TS exits are sized to the bot's recorded position, but a dedicated account/portfolio for the bot, separate from long-term holdings, is safest. Kraken serves only the latest 720 bars, so long-warmup indicators (e.g. SuperTrend) may drift from charts — simple indicators (RSI/MA) on native TFs (1m/5m/15m/30m/1h/4h/1d) are recommended. Kraken does not serve New York or Washington state residents (exchange policy).

Scanner Setup (Auto-Trading)

  1. Pick an indicator — one of five (see §5). Defaults work fine to start.
  2. Timeframe — 1m to 1d. Shorter = more signals, more noise.
  3. Direction — LONG / SHORT / BOTH.
  4. Whitelist — tick symbols from the catalog (coins, stocks, FX, commodities, indices). New-listing cards can add too.
  5. Set size, leverage, TP/SL/TSSaveStart Scanner.
💡 How it runs
The scanner runs 24/7 server-side (your PC can be off). Each bar close it evaluates your whitelist and on a signal it auto-enters → registers with the monitor → auto-exits via TP/SL/TS.

Triple MA CrossoverTriple moving-average crossSimple & robust in trends
RSI ReversalRSI overbought/oversold reversalCounter-trend, ranges

See the Scanner Manual for every parameter. The chart draws the same signal arrows, so you can eyeball-verify any setting.

TP / SL / TS — Auto Exit

FieldMeaningExample (entry $100)
TP %At +N%, closes the set “TP close %” (default 50 — remainder trailed; 100 = full exit)TP 4 → exits at $104
SL %At −N%, closes the set “SL close %” (default 100 = full; below 100 = one partial stop, remainder managed by TP/TS)SL 2 → exits at $98
TS %Trailing stop: exit N% off the peakTS 10 → peak $120, exits at $108
⚠️ About the %
All % are price moves (not leveraged PnL). With 10× leverage, SL 2% ≈ −20% on equity. 0/0/0 disables auto-exit (manual mode).
7

⏱ Backtest — verify before you go live

The [⏱ Backtest] button at the bottom of the Scanner tab replays your exact saved scanner settings (indicator, params, whitelist, TP/SL/TS) over historical data. Signals use the very same logic as the chart arrows — so you see how “the strategy on your chart” would have performed, before going live.

FieldMeaning
SymbolAll (whitelist) or a single symbol — even “All” shows a per-symbol breakdown
Period7/10/30/90/180 days. If Period (actual) shows red and shorter than requested, that symbol simply doesn’t have more history (newly listed, esp. on HL)
ResultsTrades · win rate · total PnL · average · max drawdown + per-symbol table + trade list (entry→exit, reason TP/SL/TS/REVERSE)
⚠️ Limitations
Simple % sums — no fees, funding, slippage or leverage. Entries approximate the signal bar close, TP assumes full exit (no partials), and SL wins ties inside a bar (conservative). Past performance does not guarantee future results.

🤖 DCA Bot — laddered averaging strategy

Run it from the DCA Bot card at the bottom of the Scanner tab (live orders). It opens a base position, adds a safety order (SO) each time price moves against you by the set step — improving your average — then takes full profit at TP% above the average and ends the deal. Runs independently of the scanner.

FieldMeaningDefault
Symbol/SidePick from whitelist · LONG/SHORT
Base %First entry size (% of margin)5
SO step %Adverse move % from last fill that triggers each SO2
SO multSO size multiplier (base qty × mult^k)1.5
Max SOMaximum number of safety orders4
TP %Take-profit % ★above average★ — full close, deal ends1.5
Max budgetAuto-computed margin if every SO fills — start is refused above 90%65.9% with defaults

In the deals table, [Close & end] closes the full position and ends the deal; [Release] only stops monitoring — the position stays open for you to manage.

🛡 Safety guards
Start is refused for duplicate deals, existing same/opposite positions on that symbol (one-way merge/flatten protection), or symbols the running scanner is already trading. Five consecutive order failures auto-stop the deal with a Telegram alert.
⚠️ Risk
DCA adds size while price moves against you. In a strong trend all SOs can fill and the loss can keep growing. Budget cap aside, only run it with margin you can afford.

Monitor + Chart

The Monitor tab shows your live Hyperliquid positions. Edit TP/SL/TS per row and APPLY to affect just that position. Positions opened directly on the exchange (grey badge) can be adopted by entering TP/SL/TS and selecting auto mode.

Click a row to load that symbol in the chart below, complete with the same indicator arrows the scanner uses.

Use the 🔍 symbol search above the chart (ticker or name, e.g. TSLA) to switch instantly via autocomplete, and the ☆ star to pin favorites as one-click chips.

10

Manual Orders

Search any Hyperliquid symbol on the Manual tab and fire instant market/limit orders. Add TP/SL/TS at order time and the manual position joins the auto-exit monitor too.

11

New Listing Alerts

The server diffs the Hyperliquid listing catalog on a schedule and auto-detects new listings. They appear instantly in the Scanner-tab widget with a NEW badge, plus Telegram/site notifications. One click adds them to your whitelist.

FAQ · Disclaimers

Do I need to enter my private key?
No. You only enter your wallet address (public info). The bot signs with its own Agent key, which cannot withdraw funds.
Can I turn my PC off?
Yes. Scanning, monitoring and auto-exits all run 24/7 on our servers.
Can I trade Samsung on weekends?
Yes — tokenized stocks (xyz market) are perps and trade 24/7. Liquidity thins while the underlying market is closed, so spreads can widen.
No signals are firing.
Check ① the scanner is running ② the whitelist isn’t empty ③ the timeframe isn’t too long (1d evaluates once a day). The chart’s historical arrows show how often a setting fires.
What about fees & funding?
Hyperliquid’s trading fees and perp funding apply as-is. Shorter timeframes and frequent trading make fees matter more.
